  • The Villoresi canal is heavily used by boat traffic and due to the persistent plant growth, there were lots of boat incidents
  • The root milling solved the water plant problem in a sustainable long-term fashion

Chopping of water hyacinth in the river Osun.

  • Due to the enormous amount of water hyacinths the river had a siltation problem 
  • With the SC-505 the plants have been successfully cut including the surrounding soil

Special amphibious vehicles on tires to clean canals.

  • The irrigation canals were not accessible by water therefore a special amphibious vehicle on tires has been designed
  • The canals have been freed from weeds through weed harvesting
  • The natural flow of water transported the cut weeds down the stream
